Hello Middleton Community!
WOW. This year completely flew by. As the days get longer and the weather gets warmer I encourage you to have your children come to school with appropriate footwear for PE. Flip flops are not an acceptable option for PE class and unfortunately your child will not be able to participate if they do not have sneakers fit for running around. We have about 7 weeks left! Let's close out the year by having maximum participation! - Mr. Lane

Middleton Families, I wish you all a happy and safe holiday season! Just a reminder to all parents, please remind your child(ren) to bring their sneakers for PE if they have PE as a special that particular day. Winter boots, flats, and heels are not allowed in PE due to the fact they mark up the gym floor and can cause injury's and unsafe play.
Happy Holidays! Mr. Lane Hello! Middleton Elementary students are doing a fantastic job abiding by the rules in PE class, let's hope we can keep this consistency throughout the school year!
PE Grades K-2: In September, students in grades K-2 have been working on establishing and following the expectations in our multi-purpose room. Students have also been working on locomotor skills as well as getting to know the equipment that we will be using throughout the year. PE Grades 3-6: In September, students in grades 3-6 have also been working on establishing and following the expectations in our multi-purpose room. In addition to focusing on expectations, students have been participating in cooperative/invasion games that are based off of basic locomotor and manipulative skills. Health Grades 4-6: In September, students in grades 4-6 health class have been focusing on mental health. Some of the sub-units involved in mental health are stress, sportsmanship, and the health triangle. Stay active! Mr. Lane |
